This Privacy Policy explains how Ideaflex Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information collected through this website and through the email enquiries you send us about Air Socket®.

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: when you email us or use a contact link on this website, we receive your name, email address and any other details you choose to include, such as your project, property type, location, contractor details and the portable air conditioner you plan to use.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring page and the pages you view.

We do not ask for and do not intend to collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we do not collect payment card details here.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, answer product and compatibility questions, prepare quotes or specifications, arrange follow-up with you or your contractor, and keep a record of our communications.

We also use technical and usage information to keep the website working properly, understand which parts of it are useful, and protect the site against misuse and abuse.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website may use cookies and similar technologies, including for basic functionality and for aggregated analytics about visits and page views. These do not identify you personally to us.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the website may not work as intended.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and analytics providers, and only to the extent needed to provide those services to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business, warranty and legal record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorised access, use or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or withdraw your consent to our continued use of it, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
